The Beaver County Library System, founded in 1971, serves 15 school districts through its eleven member libraries and bookmobile. The bookmobile provides public library access to county residents living in municipalities that do not have a local public library. Each system member library retains its own budget and authority. County, state and federal funding support the system.

Jones Memorial Library, Baden Memorial Library, Beaver Area Memorial Library, Carnegie Free Library, Carnegie Library of Midland, Monaca Public Library, New Brighton Public Library, Rochester Public Library, Bookmobile & Chippewa Information Center, and Laughlin Memorial Library.
