The mission of the Beaver County Sheriff’s Office is to assure a safe environment for beaver county community and an excellent quality of life.
Beaver county sheriff serve and enforce all orders of the Beaver County Court of Common Pleas, provide security for the Court of Common Pleas and court related functions, provide security for the courthouse, To transport prisoners to and from county, state and federal institutions for scheduled court appearances, arrest violators of the law and fugitives from justice, provide a K-9 drug detection unit for use in all areas of the county, assist other law enforcement agencies in the county as requested or in periods of emergency, assist in special law enforcement efforts, such as the River Regatta and Air Show, serve bench warrants and civil writs, serve Protection from Abuse orders and enforce child custody orders.
The Beaver County Sheriff's Office has been actively involved in Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E) and Crime Prevention since 1991. Since its conception, many programs have been developed by the Sheriff's Office. The D.A.R.E. Program was the first of these many crime prevention programs. Currently the Sheriff's office has two (2) crime prevention officers, Deputy Kevin P. Lupo and Deputy George Palombo, who instruct the D.A.R.E. Program in five (5) school districts in Beaver County. These include: Big Beaver Falls School District, Midland School District, Riverside School District, South Side Beaver School District, Western Beaver School District.
